The hull of the tank is cast, and the front upper armor is welded with armor plates having a good bullet-resistant shape, with the right side being slightly higher than the left. Behind this layer of cast armor, there is a space, a hollow armor that can be filled with diesel of high stability and inertness; behind it is another layer of armor. Such a structure provides the tank with better resistance to armor-piercing shells and anti-tank missiles.
