3. User Accounts and Registration

4.2 Payment

• Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, or annually as selected)
• Manual Renewal: Subscriptions do NOT automatically renew. You must manually renew before expiration to continue access
• Payment Methods: We accept Stripe and PayPal only
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days' notice

4.3 Taxes

Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for all taxes associated with your subscription.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Content

All content on 3DMecWorks, including but not limited to:

• CAD/CAM models, drawings, and designs
• Software, tools, and applications
• Text, graphics, logos, and images
• Code, databases, and functionality

...are owned by 3DMecWorks or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 License to Use Content

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and an active subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and use CAD/CAM files for reference purposes only in your design and learning activities
• Modify files for your specific needs
• Create derivative works based on downloaded files

6.3 User-Owned Content

All content uploaded to 3DMecWorks remains the property of the original uploader. By uploading content, users represent that they own all necessary rights and grant 3DMecWorks a license to distribute the content to other users.

6.4 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Redistribute, resell, or share downloaded files on other platforms
• Claim original authorship of files created by others
• Use files in any way that violates applicable laws
• Remove watermarks, credits, or attribution information
• Use automated tools to scrape or download content in bulk
• Content Ownership

  You retain full ownership of your User Content. By uploading content to 3DMecWorks, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Store, reproduce, and display your content on our platform
  • Distribute your content to other users who download it
  • Make your content searchable and accessible through our platform

  7.3 Uploader Responsibilities

  As an uploader, you are fully responsible for:

  • The accuracy, quality, and safety of your uploaded content
  • Ensuring you own or have necessary rights to upload the content
  • Verifying your content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Ensuring your content complies with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Any liability arising from use of your uploaded content by others
  • Providing accurate descriptions, specifications, and warnings

  UPLOADER LIABILITY: You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from the use of your uploaded content. Users of your content do so at their own risk and must verify all designs before use in production.

  7.3 Content Ownership

  You retain ownership of your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have necessary rights to your User Content
  • Your content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Your content complies with all applicable laws and regulations

  7.4 Prohibited Content

  You may not upload content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Is illegal, offensive, or violates community guidelines
  • Contains personal information of third parties without consent
  • Promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination

  8. Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use

  You agree to use our Service in accordance with our Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities

  • Damages from downloaded files or user-generated content
  • Project failures or manufacturing issues resulting from use of our files

  Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

  12. Indemnification

  You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 3DMecWorks, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your User Content
