The ancient Chinese high-bucket wheel and the water-lifting machine are the prototypes of modern bucket elevators and scraper conveyors. A conveyor is a material handling machine that continuously transports materials along a specific route, also known as a continuous conveyor. Conveyors can perform horizontal and inclined transportation and can also form spatial transport routes. Generally, the transport routes are fixed. Conveyors have large transport capacity and long transport distances, and they can also complete several process operations during transportation, making them widely used.
