The robot palletizer can be integrated into any bottled water production line, providing intelligent, robotic, and networked logistics for palletizing bottled water. It is widely used for bottled water filling products, among others. It is compatible with fully automatic bottled water filling lines and can palletize various types of bottles. The automatic operation of the palletizer includes steps such as automatic barrel feeding, rotating, arranging, stacking, moving stacks, lifting stacks, entering pallets, lowering stacks, and unloading.

Its working principle is when the bottled water is conveyed under the palletizer via the conveyor chain, proximity switch 1 is triggered first; when there are four barrels of water, proximity switch 2 is triggered, and the front section stops conveying and the palletizing mechanism starts working. The gripping force of the palletizer's mechanical arm is provided by two thin cylinders, and its solenoid valve uses a five-position three-way with center seal to prevent loss of gripping force in case of power failure. The movement along the y-axis is controlled by a hybrid stepper torque motor, whereas the z-axis movement's power source is also a hybrid stepper torque motor, paired with a worm gear reducer to increase torque and improve self-locking. During the lifting of stacks, counterweights are used to reduce the radial force of the motor.
After gripping the bottled water, the gantry moves along the y-axis to place the bottled water onto the pallet. Once a pallet is filled, a worker uses a forklift to move the pallet to the designated storage location.
This gantry-type fully automatic palletizer and assisting mechanical arm require one person to place pallets and another to remove them using a forklift. During this process, the machine must be turned off.
