The fully automatic camera cover printing machine is designed for the Logo printing of miniature camera covers. Since the product logo consists of four colors, color registration is required during printing, demanding high precision from the equipment. This machine is mainly divided into five parts: the chassis section, the safety protection section, the automatic tray loading and changing section, the robotic loading section, and the product printing section. The automatic tray loading and changing section is composed of a full tray magazine, an empty tray magazine, a stack separation mechanism, and a tray conveying mechanism. The operator places five trays filled with products into the full tray magazine. The stack separation mechanism separates the bottom tray from the stacked trays and places it into the conveying mechanism. The conveying mechanism delivers the tray to a fixed position, where the robot begins to pick materials. When all products in the tray are picked, the conveying mechanism returns the empty tray to the empty tray magazine. The stacking mechanism stacks the empty trays, and this process is repeated sequentially. In the robotic handling section, the robot picks up the products positioned in the tray and places them into fixtures on the indexing table, handling two pieces at a time. The printing section uses the indexing table to achieve 12-station intermittent motion: the first station is the robotic loading position, the second station is for product pressing and positioning, the third station is printing station 1, the fifth station is printing station 2, the seventh station is printing station 3, the ninth station is printing station 4, and the eleventh station is the product unloading station. The gaps in between mainly allow more time for each printed product to air dry, reducing the defective rate.
