The technology originates from Europe and uses the AO biological contact oxidation method for sewage treatment. It is internally divided into functional zones such as anoxic, aerobic, and sedimentation areas. Microorganisms attach to a fixed biological rope filler bed. Under the dynamic actions of aeration stirring, oxygenation, and air-lift recirculation, various species of microorganisms grow and reproduce in large numbers. Various pollutants are digested, absorbed, and removed by the microorganisms.
