Bucket elevators are continuous conveying machinery used for vertically lifting materials by utilizing a series of buckets uniformly fixed on endless traction components. Bucket elevators utilize a series of buckets attached to traction chains or belts to transport bulk materials upward in a vertical or nearly vertical direction. They are classified into three types: ring chain, plate chain, and belt. People often refer to them as ring chain bucket elevators, plate chain bucket elevators, chain bucket elevators, reciprocating elevators, etc.
