The automatic detection equipment for battery cells is a device used for cell inspection. The main structure includes upper and lower frame guards, a material handling robotic arm, and a precision positioning platform. The equipment is used in the battery industry but can also be applied to other inspection equipment. It features nickel tab loading and delivery structures, and positive and negative electrode nickel tab detection for battery cells. The material handling belt has separate lines for acceptable products and another for rejected products. The design of this equipment is ingenious, and many complex structures can be seen from the images. The overall machine drawings are designed using SolidWorks 2012 software.
