If the steering axis of the tilt steering tricycle is too tight, causing increased steering resistance, it is necessary to adjust the compression nut of the steering axis to the appropriate position. If the steering axis bearing is damaged, it can also lead to stiff steering, and replacing the bearing with a new one will solve the issue.
For tricycles with a steering wheel, the lack of lubricant in the steering mechanism may be the problem, so it is necessary to periodically add lubricant.
If the bearing of the steering mechanism is adjusted too tightly or if the gears and rack inside the steering mechanism mesh too tightly, it can also result in stiff steering, in which case it needs to be readjusted.
