The lift should be defined as: a lifting mechanical device or apparatus that transports people or goods up and down a vertical channel on a platform or semi-enclosed platform. It consists of an integrated system that includes the platform, equipment used to operate it, motors, cables, and other auxiliary devices. The lift equipment is composed of a traveling mechanism, hydraulic mechanism, electric control mechanism, and supporting mechanism.
