The Prusa i3 is the third generation model of the open-source RepRap 3D printer Prusa Mendel. Compared to the first and second generation Mendel versions, the third generation has a simpler structure and its design is more product-oriented. The extruder and frame structure have been upgraded compared to the older i2 model, significantly improving the printing size and forming quality.
