Low-floor bus, referred to as low-floor buses in Taiwan, is a type of bus, also known as a coach, a type of passenger bus.
The entrance step of a low-floor bus has only one step (two-step ones are called low-entry buses instead of low-floor buses), allowing easy access to the bus; it is particularly convenient when boarding, benefiting the elderly, weak, women, and children clearly, while strong young people also need low-floor buses because the boarding and alighting time is shorter, which can increase bus speed.
