Excavator, also known as excavating machinery or digger, is a type of earth-moving machinery that uses a bucket to excavate materials above or below the supporting surface and load them into transport vehicles or unload them to stockpiles. The materials excavated by an excavator mainly include soil, coal, sediment, and pre-loosened soil and rocks. In recent years, the development of excavators has been relatively rapid within the construction machinery sector, and they have become one of the most essential pieces of equipment in engineering construction. The three most important parameters of an excavator are: operating weight (mass), engine power, and bucket capacity.
