High-Power Diesel Engine, Large Equipment Engine 3D Model
SolidWorks 2012 document, editable, without parameters. The diesel engine operates via compression ignition, where the piston compresses air at a high ratio to generate high temperatures, and then diesel is injected to ignite and perform work directly. This necessitates a thick cylinder block to withstand pressure and a large capacity to intake air, making diesel engines heavy and challenging to use in small or mobile tools. Consequently, they are mainly employed in large or stationary tools, such as pumps, large buses, heavy trucks, airplanes, ships, and other large equipment.
