Its main functions are to support the powertrain, reduce the impact of powertrain vibrations on the entire vehicle, and limit the amount of drivetrain shake, thereby playing a significant role in the vehicle's NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance. Currently, most entry-level low-end vehicles generally use three-point or four-point rubber mountings, while higher-quality systems may use them in conjunction with hydraulic mountings.
