SolidWorks 2012 Engine Mounting System (Engine Bracket) SW Source File Sharing.
The mounting system exists as a part that connects the powertrain and the vehicle body. Its main functions are to support the powertrain, reduce the impact of the powertrain's vibrations on the entire vehicle, and limit the amount of shaking of the powertrain. It plays a very significant role in the vehicle's NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance. Nowadays, entry-level vehicles generally use a three-point or four-point rubber mounting system, while better models might use it in conjunction with a hydraulic mount.
