ATV is an All-Terrain Vehicle
(Suitable for all types of terrain transportation). Commonly abbreviated as ATV, it is also referred to as a "four-wheeled all-terrain off-road vehicle."
In the EU and the U.S., ATVs, UTVs, Baja, go-karts, and non-road two-wheeled motorcycles are all classified as ORVs (Off-Road Vehicles).
An ATV is a vehicle capable of driving on any terrain. It moves smoothly over terrain that is difficult for ordinary vehicles to traverse.
These vehicles are simple and practical, offer excellent off-road performance, and generally have no roof.
In fact, it's difficult to accurately express this concept using a simple Chinese name. Translating it based on its appearance as "four-wheeled all-terrain off-road vehicle" feels rather awkward.
