Divide all the cylinders into two groups and arrange adjacent cylinders at a certain angle together, so that the two groups of cylinders form two planes with an angle between them. Viewed from the side, the cylinders appear in a V-shape, hence the name V-type engine. The working cycle is composed of four piston strokes, namely the intake stroke, compression stroke, power stroke, and exhaust stroke, which is referred to as four-stroke. There are two intake valves and two exhaust valves, known as four-valve.
