The automatic circlip assembly machine involves manually assisting to place the copper tube into the V-shaped material box. Similarly, the circlip is placed into the circular vibrating disk with manual assistance. The transfer, assembly, inspection, and sorting of the copper tube and circlip are performed automatically by the mechanism, thus saving manpower, improving efficiency, and reducing the production line’s footprint.

The copper tube is fed from the V-shaped hopper into a chute, and the cylinder pushes the foremost copper tube out and into the loading fixture of the rotary disk. The rotary disk rotates 60°, and the circlip is aligned to position through circular and linear vibrations, moving it to the second position. A three-jaw cylinder grabs, expands, transfers, and fits it onto the copper tube where the lower part of the copper tube is clamped and positioned. Simultaneously, the pressing mechanism runs downwards to fit the circlip onto the designated position on the copper tube, resetting the mechanism. The rotary disk rotates 60°, allowing the assembled product to move through the third inspection station to check if the circlip is missing on the copper tube. The rotary disk rotates another 60° to the fourth station, where a reaming jig expands and adjusts the assembled copper tube inner hole while ensuring the circlip is pressed tight. The rotary disk rotates another 60°, moving the product to the fifth station where the testing cylinder presses down and, using a pressure sensor, evaluates the inner hole requirements of the copper tube. The pressure value determines whether the copper tube assembly’s inner hole qualifies as a good or defective product. Finally, the rotary disk rotates 60° again, and the product discharge mechanism extracts the item from the fixture. Good products slide into the good product box, while defective products are ejected into the defective product box through a rotating chute baffle.
