Robot Sorting Machine Equipment Functions:
Materials are fed through two 1-to-2 vibrating bowls and transported via conveyor belts. Three sets of CCDs respectively detect for product scratches, missing corners, and contamination. A parallel sorting robotic arm quickly sorts defective products to different chutes. In the middle, a flipping mechanism flips the product to inspect and sort the other side, ultimately leaving only the good products.
The equipment is applicable for sorting products of various regular shapes, such as cubes and cylinders. In this device, a 6*4*1.5 magnetic steel is used as an example.
The structure includes four mechanisms:
1. Feeding Vibrating Bowl: Utilizes two 1-to-2 type vibrating bowls to feed four rows of materials simultaneously.
2. Defective Product Ejection Mechanism: An acrylic chute paired with a drawer-type hopper, which is both aesthetically pleasing and convenient for removing defective materials.
3. Detection Mechanism: Three sets of CCD lenses are used during the product handling process to check for scratches, missing corners, and contamination.
4. Material Flipping Mechanism: Driven by a servo motor, equipped with a material groove on the outer diameter. The discharge end uses an air-blowing device to eject materials.
5. Sorting Robotic Arm: Utilizes a 4-degree-of-freedom parallel robotic arm, which surpasses the speed of serial robotic arms in picking and placing defective materials.
6. Discharge End Conveyor Mechanism: Uses an open material groove for convenient CCD detection and robotic arm material handling.
