This design is for an indoor mobile AGV (robot) commonly used in the catering or service industry. The chassis is driven by a dual-step motor and uses laser SLAM navigation. The principle is as follows: the laser SLAM scans the surrounding environment to create a map, then transmits data to a computer motherboard or industrial controller. After processing and planning the path, the motor is driven to move forward or turn. The function of the ultrasonic sensor and camera is to assess the obstacle situation in real-time.
This design is in SolidWorks 2017 format and includes an overall assembly file in STP format.
Service Robot_Intelligent Service Robot
The catering service robot is a new type of robot designed for hotel catering service and exhibition reception service, featuring a humanoid appearance and extremely rich functions. It can not only serve as a greeter and deliver dishes in restaurants but also engage in fixed-entry voice interaction with guests in quiet rooms. During the trial operation, the Anhui Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, responsible for the project initiation and R&D of the catering service robot, has continuously modified and improved the overall architecture and control system throughout the research process. The focus has been strengthened on vision, voice, and dual-arm motion grasping research, enabling the robot to recognize common objects, identify people, naturally converse with people, and perform simple actions like tidying up and item grabbing, making the robot more approachable and friendly.
