This is an omnidirectional wheel encoder shock absorption module. An encoder is a rotational step-counting device that can record the number of rotations. This allows the calculation of the chassis movement distance using the wheel’s radius and circumference. The model includes two pairs of independent springs (not shown in the render, but present in the model diagram), which ensures that the omnidirectional wheel part remains in contact with the ground at all times and that the encoder’s output shaft does not endure excessive radial force, thereby extending its lifespan.
