The primary purpose of this equipment is to achieve the three main functions of weighing, packaging, and counting. Therefore, the key technical issues faced in the design and production are primarily related to realizing these three functions.
The first key technical issue in the design is to achieve the weighing function. We mainly accomplish this using a cantilever beam sensor. By placing items on a tray and vibrating the entire tray with a vibrator, the items fall onto the cantilever beam sensor to achieve the purpose of weighing.
The second key technical issue is to achieve the packaging function. We mainly accomplish this by utilizing the thermoplasticity of packaging materials. As items move through the material inlet into the packaging materials (instantly, we heat the packaging material using a thermistor placed on the side). When the temperature is sufficiently high, it melts the materials together to seal the package. Meanwhile, a hot wire is used to cut the packaging bag, thus completing the packaging of the items.
The third key technical issue is to achieve the counting function. We mainly achieve this through a microcontroller. The microcontroller records data of the entire process through a specific program and displays it on the screen, allowing us to adjust some parameters of the process.
