This is a vehicle-mounted directional antenna I designed for the field of drone control, to be used in conjunction with airborne directional antennas.
The antenna is placed on the car roof with a telescopic cylinder that can be driven to stand upright and extend, reaching a height of about 1.8m. The antenna head can rotate 360 degrees infinitely along the horizontal direction, thanks to the use of a high-frequency slip ring inside; the antenna head can also pitch 180 degrees. The vehicle-mounted directional antenna will track the drone’s position and automatically align the antenna head in the direction of the drone. Because a directional antenna is used, the effective control radius of the drone will be greatly enhanced, with a design range of 150KM.
The model is in SolidWorks 2016 version, editable, and contains parameters, with an additional file in STP format.
It serves as a reference for drone designers, can be used directly, and I hope it can help you design better products.
