The machine consists of several major components: conveyor feeding unit, gear rack push unit, paper bag pushing unit, paper bag opening unit, paper bag heat sealing unit, and the power source—secondary reducer, motor, etc. The entire packaging process is automated, and compared to modern machinery, this machine achieves high speed, continuity, featuring high productivity, low power consumption, simple use, easy and reliable maintenance. This paper bag tableware packaging machine addresses the resource pollution issue of traditional plastic film packaging, effectively alleviating the problem of white pollution, while also offering fast packing speed, good precision, strong practicality, good output quality, and great efficiency. This paper mainly accomplishes the following aspects:_x000D_
(1) Determine the material and basic dimensions of the paper bag._x000D_
(2) Determine the technical parameters of the paper bag tableware packaging machine, and analyze the major components’ structure and motion principles._x000D_
(3) Determine the transmission scheme of the paper bag tableware packaging machine, namely the bag opening, heat sealing mechanism, gear rack mechanism, etc._x000D_
(4) Determine the coordination timing of the three mechanisms._x000D_
(5) Reasonably select and design the execution mechanism of the paper bag tableware packaging machine to ensure smooth packaging execution._x000D_
Using Auto CAD design software, the key parts of the packaging machine system were drawn, accurately describing the key dimensions of components and assemblies, checking and modifying the design. It was determined whether the movements of the related parts were coordinated, solving many issues that otherwise needed addressing after manufacturing a prototype._x000D_
This design is for a machine applied in a specific tableware packaging production scenario, requiring further research in the future. For instance, how to package different objects with different packaging requirements by only making appropriate adjustments without replacing functional components. Also, how to further improve the system’s operational reliability and coordination to make the system adaptable to faults.
