A constant velocity (CV) universal joint is a device that connects two shafts with an angle between them or with varying relative positions, transmitting power at the same angular velocity. It can overcome the non-uniform rotational speed issue present in ordinary cross-axis universal joints. Currently, the widely used constant velocity universal joints mainly include the ball fork type and the ball cage type.
