The design model of a CNC PCB engraving machine consists of three parts: a computer, an engraving machine controller, and the engraving machine host.
Working principle: The system uses specialized engraving software installed on the computer for design and layout. The computer automatically transmits the design and layout information to the engraving machine controller. The controller then converts this information into power signals (pulse trains) that can drive stepper motors or servo motors, controlling the engraving machine host to execute the X, Y, and Z-axis engraving toolpath. Meanwhile, the high-speed rotating engraving head on the machine uses tools configured according to the material being processed to cut the material fixed on the host’s worktable. This allows for automatic engraving of various planar or three-dimensional relief patterns and text as designed on the computer, achieving automated engraving operations.
