A bag filter is a type of dry dust filtration device. After using the filter material for a while, due to effects such as sieving, collision, retention, diffusion, and static electricity, a layer of dust accumulates on the surface of the filter bag. This layer of dust is referred to as the initial layer. During subsequent operations, the initial layer becomes the primary filtering layer of the filter material. Thanks to the initial layer, even filter materials with larger mesh sizes can achieve a high filtration efficiency. As dust continues to accumulate on the surface of the filter material, both the efficiency and resistance of the dust collector correspondingly increase. When the pressure difference across the two sides of the filter material becomes too large, some of the fine dust particles already attached to the filter material may be forced through, causing a decrease in the efficiency of the dust collector. Additionally, excessively high resistance in the dust collector can cause a significant reduction in the airflow of the dust collection system. Therefore, once the resistance of the dust collector reaches a certain level, it is necessary to perform cleaning in a timely manner. During cleaning, the initial layer should not be damaged to avoid a reduction in efficiency.
