This machine can perform two functions: coin sorting and counting. Coins are directed to the separation section through a funnel. The separation section consists of two layers, each inclined at a certain angle, allowing coins to slide down by gravity. Due to the large diameter difference between 1-yuan coins and the other two denominations, the first separation layer separates them by controlling the size of the opening at the bottom of the track. The 0.5-yuan and 0.1-yuan coins, having smaller diameters, will fall onto the buffer plate between the layers and be directed to the top of the next separation layer.
Since the diameter difference between 0.5-yuan and 0.1-yuan coins is very small, the second layer separates them through a series of evenly distributed holes with diameters between that of the 0.1-yuan and 0.5-yuan coins. Each layer has an inclined conduit at the bottom that leads the sorted coins to the corresponding collection tubes. As each type of coin falls into the corresponding collection tube, counting is achieved through optical infrared sensors.
The bottom of the machine is the packaging and collection section. A stepper motor controls the disk-shaped frame to rotate a certain angle and stay in position for a specific duration. The disk-shaped frame is divided into four areas, each performing the functions of dropping the packaging shell, placing the coins, pressing the lid, and ejecting the entire unit. The coin placement area must align with the bottom of the corresponding collection tube.
