The form of heat transfer by infrared is radiation heat transfer, where energy is transferred through electromagnetic waves. When far-infrared rays irradiate the object being heated, some rays are reflected back while others penetrate through. When the wavelength of the emitted far-infrared matches the absorption wavelength of the object being heated, the object absorbs the far-infrared rays. At this point, the molecules and atoms inside the object undergo “resonance”—resulting in strong vibrations and rotations, which in turn raises the object’s temperature, achieving the purpose of heating.
