A Five-Axis CNC Milling Machine: Japanese CNC Milling Machine SolidWorks Design Drawings
The Japanese CNC milling machine RAPIMA, RMX-15 features a drive mechanism that is distinct from the commonly used screw shaft method, instead utilizing a wire. This structural method is quite unique, significantly enhancing machining precision and improving processing techniques. Therefore, the SolidWorks model is uploaded, which includes more than 500 component models and an assembly that is editable. It is available for reference and download by everyone!
The internal structure is clear and has extremely high reference value. Please use SolidWorks version 2012 or above to open it.
This structure is impressive, and the Japanese are indeed skillful. I’ve learned a lot from it. It’s a great design—ingenious and practical—especially suitable for small-batch processing of complex small products. The wire transmission structure is very distinctive. However, achieving precision in sheet metal processing is still challenging (in the domestic context), and perhaps some sheet metal parts in actual production might need to be modified for solid processing.
